Glamorous Carrie D’Waay returns to the big screen in a fierce variation on her femme fatale role in director Erik Larson’s new series of short films entitled “Door Mat.”
Carrie started in a very small supporting role in the late 80’s short “The Baby,” and has worked her way up to larger and more substantial roles in the following decades with Erik and the gang.
As a direct contrast to her offscreen persona, Carrie is usually cast as the evil, scheming glamour girl who serves as a foil for the more innocent main characters. Its a role which she excels in, and seems to relish playing.
When she’s not on the big screen as a star of cult movies, Carrie keeps busy both as a voiceover artist and as a singer/songwriter. Her angelic voice and thoughtful lyrics span the spectrum of musical genres -- she is equally at home singing pop, country or dance music.
Carrie has appeared in intimate venues as a headliner, sports stadiums and television specials. And her sexy, soothing speaking voice has graced commercials, TV shows and radio stations across the United States.
Carrie’s role as Maggie Magnolia in the “Door Mat” series is one of her very best performances to date. Maggie is selfish, conniving and short-tempered... the complete opposite of the actress who brings her to blazing life.
