Hard-working Hollywood actress Melissa Fosse-Dunne makes her long-awaited LarsErik Films debut in director Erik Larson’s new series of short films entitled “Door Mat” as loud, long-winded bully Joreeta.
Melissa comes from a royal performing lineage (see the Fosse in her name), and brings her unique sense of humor to every role she does.
Growing up in suburban Chicago, Melissa honed her skills at the Second City Conservatory, and has appeared in such varied stage works as “I Stand Before You Naked,” “Diary of a High School Dropout” and two years with “The Vagina Monologues.”
She has done numerous television commercials, often performing as her endearing waitress persona known as Charlene.
On the big screen, she has appeared in “Bad Meat” with Chevy Chase and 30 Rock’s Judah Friedlander.
She has been a fan of the LarsErik group since she attended multiple screenings of “Meter Girls” in Chicago in the late ‘90s, and finally Erik has written a role specifically for her in his “Door Mat” series.
